1 - Blurry vision even with correction

With keratoconus, normal glasses or contacts are unable to correct for the irregular shape of the cornea. Vision is rarely corrected or improved with glasses or contact lenses.

2 - Rapidly changing vision

Keratoconus is a progressive condition and as the cornea continues to change, faster and larger changes in the prescription will be noted. Visually noticeable changes within 6 months should be questioned. 3 - Increasing sensitivity to light

Due to the extra distortion, someone struggling with keratoconus will feel much more discomfort from glare and brightness, especially at night time. If you are dealing with any of the symptomks above it is important to speak with an Optometrist as soon as possible.
